RR Retreats was founded on a single belief: that the most meaningful work happens when people are removed from the ordinary. The Maldives — with its silence, its light, and its unhurried pace — is not just a backdrop. It is the experience itself.
We began as a small team of hospitality professionals and corporate wellness advocates who had seen, firsthand, what a well-designed retreat could do for a leadership team. The clarity it produced. The bonds it forged. The decisions it unlocked.
Today, RR Retreats operates across the Maldivian islands — including our own boutique property, RR Retreats Velana, in the heart of Hulhumale — delivering bespoke retreat experiences for executive teams, leadership cohorts, and corporate groups from around the world.

Our flagship boutique hotel sits in Hulhumale Phase 1, minutes from Velana International Airport. Twenty-two carefully appointed rooms — ten Superior Deluxe rooms with private balconies, and twelve Executive Deluxe rooms — each designed to offer a genuine sense of arrival. Breakfast is included, the front desk arranges every island activity, and the warmth of our team is felt from the moment you land.
